Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Youth Ministry Planner (“the Service”), operated by Smart Cascadia LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a Wyoming limited liability company. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Youth Ministry Planner, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Youth Ministry Planner is an AI-assisted meeting planning tool designed for Christian youth leaders, youth pastors, and church volunteers. The Service helps users create structured meeting plans, generate lesson content, track attendance, and maintain ministry records.
3. Account Registration
You must sign in using a valid Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at support@youthministryplanner.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
Youth Ministry Planner is offered on a subscription basis. Current plans and pricing are listed at app.youthministryplanner.com/pricing. Prices are subject to change with 30 days’ notice — changes will not affect your current billing period.
Subscriptions are billed in advance. Billing is processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
5. Free Trial
New users may access the Service free for 14 days without providing a credit card. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to continue using the Service. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free trial at any time.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access through that date.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@youthministryplanner.com within 30 days of the charge.
7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Youth Ministry Planner uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic’s Claude models) to generate meeting plans, lesson outlines, game descriptions, worship guides, and other content. AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and creative aid — not as theological, doctrinal, or pastoral advice.
You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before using it with your youth group. We make no guarantees about the theological accuracy, denominational appropriateness, or suitability of generated content for your specific context. Always use your own judgment and the discernment of your church leadership.
To keep the Service reliable and fairly available to all users, AI generation is subject to a reasonable weekly usage limit, with a lower limit during the free trial. These limits are set generously to cover normal ministry-planning use and are not expected to affect typical use. If you reach your limit, AI generation will pause temporarily on a rolling basis until it resets; all other features of the Service remain available in the meantime. We may adjust these limits from time to time to maintain service quality for all users.
8. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
- Provide accurate information when setting up your ministry profile
- Review all AI-generated content before using it in ministry settings
- Maintain appropriate data practices for any information about minors in your care (see Section 9)
9. Data Involving Minors
Youth Ministry Planner is designed for use by adults (youth leaders) and is not directed at minors. However, users may choose to enter information about youth group members — such as names or attendance records — as part of their ministry management.
If you enter information about minors into the Service, you represent that you have appropriate authority to do so (such as parental consent forms required by your church), and you take responsibility for handling that information in compliance with applicable laws and your church’s data policies.
We recommend using first names only or anonymized identifiers when recording youth group member information.
10. Intellectual Property
Content you create using the Service — including your meeting plans, lesson edits, and ministry notes — belongs to you. You grant us a limited license to store and process your content in order to provide the Service.
The Youth Ministry Planner software, branding, and underlying systems are owned by Smart Cascadia LLC. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the Service.
AI-generated content produced by the Service is provided to you for your personal ministry use. We do not claim ownership of AI outputs generated on your behalf.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Smart Cascadia LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of ministry records, or reliance on AI-generated content.
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your ministry context.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wyoming.
